About
A screening of the film Perpetual Motion. It was directed by Nicolás Pereda and stars Gabino Rodríguez and Teresa Sánchez, following Gabino, who lives with his mother in Mexico City and works as a mover with his friend Paco, ferrying people's possessions between homes. Between jobs, arguments over money and the search for his missing dog, the pair stay constantly occupied while getting nowhere. Pereda turns this premise into a dryly funny study of labour, class and frustrated mobility, where furniture changes hands and stories are retold yet meaningful change stays out of reach.
