Concerts
RÓIS: folk, sean-nós and electronics from Fermanagh.
About
A live concert at the ICA's Stage by RÓIS, a composer, vocalist, multi-instrumentalist and electronic artist from Fermanagh. Her genre-bending songs blend folk, sean-nós, electronics and jazz harmony to breathe new life into a forgotten Ireland, with shapeshifting sets where no two performances are the same. She is behind the acclaimed album MO LÉAN, awarded Album of the Year at the Northern Ireland Music Prize and shortlisted for the Choice Music Prize, and recently welcomed to the label Domino. The evening is presented by Baba Yaga's Hut, a place where the ancient meets the new.
