About

Network Theatre Company holds auditions for its production of "Till the Stars Come Down", a play by Beth Steel directed by Alex T Hornby, an amateur production in association with Nick Hern Books. The play is set on a scorching summer's day, where the Stone family gathers to celebrate Sylvia's wedding to Marek, a Polish immigrant. As vodka and beer flow freely, long-buried resentments, secrets, and cultural friction boil over, testing family loyalties. It is funny in the way families are funny until the ground shifts and it heads somewhere darker, toward the things the sisters have kept from each other for years.
