About
Unplugged Jazz: Reuben Goldmark Trio is an intimate set of original contemporary jazz compositions played at the record shop Next Door Records. It is led by Reuben Goldmark, a BBC Young Jazz Musician Finalist and twice Dankworth Prize winner, on piano, with bassist John Jones and drummer Jonah Evans. The music promises lyrical melodies and hooks underpinned by high-tech grooves and polyrhythmic beats, dynamic and ever-evolving at the performers' absolute limit. The trio will record their debut album in April 2025, and the event is presented by Next Door Records and open to all ages.
