‘Us at Work’ – Jewellery Showcase is an exhibition at Flow Gallery presenting jewellery by Romilly Saumarez Smith alongside works by five fellow jewellers. For nearly 14 years, since a rare form of MS left her unable to create with her own hands, Romilly has worked with Lucie Gledhill, Anna Wales, Rachel Jones, Carola Solcia and Laura Ngyou, who act as her hands and ‘translate’ her designs. The showcase brings her pieces together with each translator's independent work, revealing their distinct styles, from Romilly's organic ‘landscapes’ of earth and ocean to chain making, abstracted nature and reimagined classical forms.
