About

A new production of Edward Albee's play Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, set in the round, runs at @sohoplace in the West End. Directed by Tony and Olivier Award winner Marianne Elliott, it stars Gillian Anderson as Martha and Billy Crudup as George. In the early hours on an American college campus, Martha has invited new professor Nick and his wife Honey for after-party drinks, and the young couple are drawn into George and Martha's toxic games as dawn approaches. Produced by Sonia Friedman Productions for a strictly limited run, the evening culminates in a moment of devastating truth-telling.
