About
Windrush Food Culture is a free exhibition about Windrush food culture and its impact on Britain through the decades, from the margins to the mainstream. It explores how the Windrush Generation brought their flavours, memory, resilience, creativity and techniques to post-war Britain, tracing food as comfort, survival, celebration, resistance and sustenance. The exhibition is produced by the National Windrush Museum in collaboration with Royal Museums Greenwich.
