All My R(el)ations

All My R(el)ations is a multi-disciplinary dance theatre performance and installation by the Indigenous company Aanmitaagzi from Nipissing First Nation, Ontario, Canada, running about 45 minutes. Co-created and performed by the Aanmitaagzi Ensemble under director and choreographic lead Penny Couchie, it is part of the Spiderwoman global indigenous Theater festival. The work brings together professional artists and community, asking who we are in the face of adversity and who we hope to be, built on story-telling luncheons with elders, summer intensives with youth and weekly workshops. Through this intergenerational, multi-year project, the company seeks to make the E and the L no longer silent, so we can return to All My Relations.
