About

A character-driven dance piece embodying a woman's internalized sense of responsibility. Directed and choreographed by Gianna Burright, it is a world premiere commissioned by the Baryshnikov Arts Center, scored by Shio Tepper with live violin and piano. Humor, surreal imagery, and sharp physicality move through memories, fantasies, and imagined futures colliding with the push and pull of expectation, as joy and despair sit side by side.
