Complexions Contemporary Ballet returns to The Joyce Theater for a two-week homecoming season. The company is directed by Dwight Rhoden and Desmond Richardson, praised as at the forefront of American contemporary ballet. The engagement features three programs with world premieres by Rhoden, Tommie-Waheed Evans, and Jillian Davis, plus the Suite de Lavallade tribute to Carmen de Lavallade and the beloved Testament set to African American Spirituals. The November 17 performance is a benefit.
