About
HopeBoykinDance is a dance performance at The Apollo Stages at The Victoria. The ensemble was founded by Hope Boykin, a two-time Bessie Award-winning choreographer, writer, director, and filmmaker and a former member of Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, PHILADANCO!, and Complexions Contemporary Ballet. The program presents works spanning more than two decades of her creativity. Her movement-language melds modern-contemporary movement, spoken word, and storytelling for the stage.
