About
SaturBAY is an annual community celebration of Flushing Waterways, featuring a scavenger hunt and walking tour along the route of the undergrounded Flushing Creek, followed by an indoor celebration. Guardians of Flushing Bay is a coalition of human-powered boaters, park users, and local residents advocating for a healthy and equitably accessible Flushing Waterways. The event is organized with Holes in the Wall Collective and includes a Quipu workshop with artist Niceli Portugal, face painting, and a community celebration of the group's work and proposed floating field station. Costumes are welcomed but not required.
