About
The Jihee Heo Trio performs live jazz at The Django, the cellar-level room of the Roxy Hotel on 2 Avenue of the Americas in New York City. The trio is led by Jihee Heo, a jazz pianist and composer born in Incheon, South Korea and based in New York, whose trio album "Are You Ready?" with drummer Rodney Green and bassist Marty Kenney was released in 2020 on OA2 Records. A Manhattan School of Music graduate, she is praised by Downbeat for a beautiful legato touch built on sturdy lyricism and lustrous harmonies.
