Sentient Earth

Sentient Earth is an exhibition of over sixty artworks spread across Amant's campus in Brooklyn. It brings together twenty-eight international artists contending with how extractive technologies shape lived environments and perceptions of the planet. Responding to histories of mining, the works trace these narratives into the political and ecological demands of today's financial and algorithmic systems, spanning kinetic sculpture, anamorphic painting, documentary film, and live data mapping. The show is organized by Amant, a non-profit arts organization in Brooklyn, and later tours to Toronto.
