About
A screening of the feature film "Shutter Island". Martin Scorsese directs this feverish postwar thriller starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Mark Ruffalo as US Marshals investigating the escape of an infamous triple filicide from Ashecliffe Hospital, on a rugged islet in Boston Harbor. The film is awash in the psychic trauma of the mid-century, with a soundtrack of jarring modernist classical compiled by Robbie Robertson and cinematography by Robert Richardson.
