About
Spotlight tour: History is a free 90-minute walking tour that tells the story of the High Line, the park in the sky. A docent shares the history of the elevated structure from the early turn of the 20th century to the present day, with an insider's perspective on it before and after it became a park. The October 29 tour is led by Richard Graziano and Brian Kilgannon, who have both volunteered as docents with Friends of the High Line. The tour starts at the top of the Gansevoort Street stairs and proceeds rain or shine.
