Caspar Heinemann – Tempting Fate

Tempting Fate is an exhibition at Kunsthalle Zürich. The Glasgow-based artist Caspar Heinemann presents sculptures, installations, performances, drawings and texts, with the show curated by Fanny Hauser. His works reshape language, narratives and historical fragments into material and spatial forms, touching on queer and countercultural histories as well as spiritual and literary traditions. A large-scale installation named ABRACADABRA, built from wooden pallets and a hand-embroidered curtain, anchors the exhibition and turns to the night sky as a motif for continuity, imagination and so-called 'magical thinking'.
