CHF 35 / Kinder bis 12 Jahre: CHF 10
About
A family concert for young and old from age 5, hosted in Swiss German and lasting about one hour. The Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich plays music from Tchaikovsky's ballet 'Dornröschen' (Sleeping Beauty) under Julia Kurzydlak, with dancers from the Junior Ballett Zürich in a choreography by Filipe Portugal. It tells the old folk tale: Princess Aurora pricks herself on a spindle and falls into a deep sleep along with her entire kingdom, awakened only by the kiss of a prince who truly loves her. Sara Taubman-Hildebrand hosts this most romantic of all dance fairy tales.
