A course on Hanafuda, traditional Japanese playing cards with which Nintendo once began before becoming world-famous with Pokémon. After a short introductory talk by Japanologist Daniela Tan, participants play Hanafuda together in a relaxed setting. The rules are simple and no Japanese is needed. The course is led by Sayako Bissig and is open to all.
