About

"Your First Creation on the Wheel: Embracing Wabi-Sabi" is a guided beginner workshop at the pottery wheel hosted by Paint It Easy. The studio's ceramic artists show you step by step how to centre the clay and pull up your first shape – perhaps a little cup. Inspired by the Japanese idea of wabi-sabi, the focus is on celebrating imperfection rather than chasing perfection. The ticket covers clay, tools, your own wheel, glazing and firing of one piece, plus a welcome drink.
