Kammermusik-Lunchkonzert

A chamber music lunch concert in the Kleine Tonhalle at the Tonhalle Zürich. The Ilios Quartett, founded in 1997 – Thomas García and Seiko Périsset-Morishita on violin, Paul Westermayer on viola, Anita Federli-Rutz on cello – performs string quartets by Heinrich von Herzogenberg and Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy. Mendelssohn Bartholdy wrote his quartet in F minor, Op. 80, in Switzerland after the death of his sister Fanny, and it is his last completed work. The concert opens the series with the theme «Alpine Resonanzen – die Schweiz als Inspirationsquelle der Kammermusik» and is supported by Sentivo.ch.
