About
A club concert night followed by an after-show wind-down at Helsinki, with Mount Jacinto performing and Choose the Juice as support. Mount Jacinto is a locally based band around the Costa Rican musician Sonya Carmona, who previously worked with acts such as Colornoise and Las Robertas. Inspired by Mount San Jacinto near Palm Springs and the open expanses of Northern California, her band creates wide, emotionally dense soundscapes that carry a feeling of freedom and boundlessness. Alongside Carmona on guitar and vocals, the band includes Seraina Lutta on drums and Joel Morales on bass, and it released the debut EP Outward Signs in 2023 and the album Silver Lining in 2024 on Taxi Gauche Records.
