About
«Loulou» is a feature film by Maurice Pialat from France. It tells of Nelly, a young woman from the Parisian bourgeoisie who meets the loutish drifter and petty criminal Loulou in a disco and begins a passionate affair with him. When she becomes pregnant by him, she must choose between him and her possessive husband. The groundbreaking social drama explores female desire and delivers biting criticism of French society.
