About
"Make & Wear: Earrings" is a guided ceramics workshop where participants with no prior experience design their own earrings from clay. In a first session of about 2.5 hours, they get to know different clay types and try hand-building techniques such as pinching and slab work. The ceramic artists of Paint It Easy guide them step by step, with all materials included, from clay, tools, firings and glazes to beads and silver parts. After firing, the pieces are assembled with silver components into wearable jewellery, and after about four weeks one or two pairs of glazed earrings are ready for pickup.
