About
Beautifully Textured Surfaces is a ceramics workshop that puts the surface of clay at its centre. Participants shape a functional or decorative piece such as a bowl, a plate or a small object and try out texture techniques like stamping, carving, pressing and layering. A professional ceramic artist guides the class step by step through building and shaping the work. After the workshop the organisers take care of glazing and firing, with pickup available about four weeks later.
