About
A screening of the film „Family Album“ followed by a live Q&A with director Joel Calero. It is the third and final installment of his Trilogy of Memory, concluding his cinematic exploration of Peru's historical memory. The film follows Alex, who is about to become a father when he discovers a family album revealing buried secrets of infidelity, violence, and a past marked by Peru's internal armed conflict. As he confronts his family's hidden history, the boundaries between personal memory and collective trauma begin to blur. The premiere is part of BERLATIN, a showcase of Latin American arthouse cinema organized by LATIN QUARTER Film Distribution in partnership with Kino Babylon.
