Architectural Echotones. A Poetics Of The Surrounds is a takeover exhibition with a public programme in Wedding. Conceived by SAVVY Contemporary within the framework of the 36th São Paulo Biennale's travelling exhibition, it invites the Brazilian collective Vilanismo to take over the art space. The brotherhood of ten Black artists from São Paulo presents their works for the first time in Berlin, spanning installations, paintings, drawings and video works. Rather than a mere exhibition of finished products, the space is conceived as a laboratory and site of transformation, pulsating as an echo chamber between São Paulo and Berlin.
