Overwrite! On behalf of things, species and voices that disappear. Mexiko-Stadt und Berlin in Resonanz is an exhibition on the upper floor of Schloss Biesdorf in Berlin. Curated by Susanne Britz and Arturo Hernández Alcázar, it brings together artists from Mexico City and Berlin to reflect on processes of social and ecological change and to look for new ways of thinking and acting. Selected works from the Museum Utopie and Alltag / Kunstarchiv Beeskow widen the dialogue. The exhibition treats overwriting as an ambivalent practice that may erase or impose, but may also open and listen, shaping past, present and future in poetic, political and material ways.
