An observation night featuring guided tours and views of Berlin's night sky at the Wilhelm-Foerster-Sternwarte observatory on the Insulaner hill in Schöneberg. It is run by the observatory and Berlin's planetarium; weather permitting, double stars, star clusters, planetary nebulae and even galaxies can be seen through the large "Bamberg-Refraktor" and smaller telescopes. The event lasts 90 minutes, is suitable for ages 12 and up, and takes place in any weather. The path to the observatory is unlit, so bringing your own flashlight is recommended.
