The Berliner Philharmoniker give their season-closing concert in the open air of the Waldbühne, bidding farewell to the summer break with an evening full of stirring rhythms. On the podium is Daniel Harding, who leads this renowned concert for the first time and already shares a long-standing artistic partnership with the orchestra. Star violinist Augustin Hadelich, known for his phenomenal technique, plays Ravel's “Tzigane” and Sarasate's “Carmen-Fantasie”. The programme also spans Johann Strauss II, Stravinsky, Richard Strauss and Ravel.
