Talks and readings
Zikaron Ba'Salon: a Holocaust survivor's story and talk.
About
Zikaron Ba'Salon "Our identity" is an evening of remembrance, listening and dialogue at the Bibliothek Schöneberg. It is hosted by Zikaron Ba'Salon together with the district office Tempelhof-Schöneberg's commissioner against right-wing extremism and antisemitism. At its heart is the personal story of Ruth Winkelmann, a Holocaust survivor and Berlin native, followed by a shared discussion on memory, identity and belonging. The evening aims to deepen the understanding of shared responsibility and to reflect on how a safer, more inclusive and more just future for all can be shaped.
