About
A public guided tour of the Berlin Sculpture Find – works of Classical Modernism that were persecuted as degenerate art and recovered from bomb rubble. The Staatliche Museen zu Berlin present the event. The tour covers the background, the 1937 propaganda exhibition in Munich, and the discovery of the figures during excavations in Berlin-Mitte in 2010. Visitors come very close to the sculptures and learn what restoration can heal and how much was lost in the rubble.
