About
The „Berliner Skulpturenfund“ presents sixteen sculptures of Classical Modernism recovered in 2010 from a cellar filled with wartime rubble during archaeological excavations in front of Berlin's Red City Hall. The special exhibition of the Museum für Vor- und Frühgeschichte of the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin is devoted to the works that the National Socialists defamed as "Entartete Kunst" and confiscated in 1937. It is shown at PETRI Berlin, the house for Berlin archaeology, as a complete group for the first time since 2019, not far from the site where they were found.
