DOCUMENTARY COMPETITION DOC 02 | The Present – Between Self, Other and Now
ACUDkino, Veteranenstraße 21, 10119 Berlin, Mitte
About
A documentary competition programme of five short films, followed by a Q&A. It is part of the 42nd INTERFILM International Short Film Festival Berlin. The films ask how we recognise ourselves in the other – in animals, so-called LGBT-free zones or our own digital fictions – and how we draw boundaries and assert ourselves. Their characters find their own paths to freedom in the liminal spaces of pervasive narratives, through differentiation and solidarity alike.
