DOKUMENTARFILM WETTBEWERB DOC 03 | The Future – With Solidarity, Resistance and the Gaze of the Camera
ACUDkino, Veteranenstraße 21, 10119 Berlin, Mitte
About
A documentary competition programme of six short documentaries in which the camera's gaze itself becomes a political act, followed by a Q&A. It is part of the 42nd INTERFILM International Short Film Festival Berlin, titled Shared Shores, which reinterprets borders as places of transitions and encounters. The films include a woman filming evacuated Teheran, Alaa recording his everyday life under occupation, and protestors in Berlin meeting watchful police cameras. All films screen in the original version with English subtitles.
