About
Familie und Religion is an exhibition at the Humboldt Forum in which two silk paintings are used to illustrate the theme of family. On view are the nursing goddess Hariti, revered as the protector of children, and an exceptionally rare silk painting that has recently been restored. The display belongs to the annual programme Beziehungsweise Familie, curated by the Humboldt Forum together with the Ethnologisches Museum and the Museum für Asiatische Kunst, the Stiftung Stadtmuseum Berlin and Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.
