About
This special exhibition at the Documentation Centre on Nazi Forced Labour in Berlin explores what forced labour meant in the past and what it means today. It is an international travelling exhibition created as a joint Erasmus+ project by partners from Italy, Austria and Poland. Through personal life stories it shows the fates of civilian workers, prisoners of war, concentration camp inmates and Jewish persecutees from across Europe, and compares occupied Poland, Austria and Italy. A final section links to the present, where millions of people around the world are still affected by modern exploitation.
