About

A photo exhibition titled “Ein Schiff. Ein Moment Sicherheit.”, opening with a vernissage that includes a lecture and a conversation with the audience. Behind it is the humanitarian organization SOS MEDITERRANEE, which carries out civilian search and rescue in the central Mediterranean. The pictures show the people behind the statistics: moments of despair and relief, care and cooperation, as well as the hope for a life in peace and safety. The exhibition invites visitors to look closely and to see civilian sea rescue for what it is: an expression of solidarity and humanity.
