About
HALTLOS is a German drama about young Martha, who decides during her pregnancy to give her newborn baby up for adoption. It was directed by Kida Khodr Ramadan and tells of self-determination, motherhood and the difficulty of letting go. Her lover Sebastian is married and unwilling to give up his family for her. The densely staged chamber play passes no judgment, but follows Martha on her way closely and unsparingly.
