The screening brings together short films from the environmental film competition of the 42nd International Short Film Festival Berlin. In nature there is silence, yet whoever listens closely can hear the past whispering: a cave speaks, a glacier sings its requiem, ancestors pass on their knowledge. Stories both ancient and mystical, and others only a few generations old, can point a way into the future. Our questions are heard, even when we do not always understand the answers.
