Lettekiez liest!
About
A reading followed by a conversation about the book “Vielleicht wollte er gar nicht schweigen, er fand bloß die Worte nicht” at the Bibliothek am Schäfersee library. Its author Misha Schoeneberg, who also wrote songs for Max Prosa and lyrics for Rio Reiser and Ton Steine Scherben, tells the story of his family there: his father came from a Jewish Berlin family and survived Auschwitz, while his mother came from Western Pomerania and belonged to the BDM as a girl. It is already his eighth published book, presenting an unusual German-Jewish family history of postwar Germany.
