Marenera: Lassatila ballare is an evening concert of music and dance from southern Italy at Expedition Metropolis. The Marenera bring traditional songs and rhythms such as pizziche, tarantelle, tammurriate and stornelli to Berlin, inviting the audience to listen, sing along and dance. On stage are Barbara la Cécilia (vocals), Matthias Haffner (percussion), Enrico Olivanti (guitar), Mimis Sandalis (double bass), Penelope Gkika (violin), Valentina Bellanova (flute), Ira Shiran (accordion) and Giovanna Saccullo (dance). The Kleine KunstHalle, the performance space, is accessible via a ramp.
