Ostfrauen*Salon: talks and art on East German identity.
About
The Ostfrauen*Salon is a day of encounters, literature, art, podcasts and conversations about East German identity and social change. At its heart is a long table where anyone interested can sit down and talk with one another. It is a joint project of Wirtschaftsförderung Lichtenberg, the Bundesarchiv – Stasi-Unterlagen-Archiv and the Ostfrauen*Salon, funded by the Senatsverwaltung für Wirtschaft, Energie und Betriebe. The programme includes a guided tour of the former Stasi headquarters, a reading by Ruth Herzberg, a parlour game with Jule Henschel, an art talk with Isabel Kittler, Doreen Trittel and Maria Magdalena Köhn, a live podcast with Berit Großwendt and Grit Seymour, and a performance by the collective Panzerkreuzer Rotkäppchen.
