Perspektiven in Resonanz – Japanisch-Deutsche Dialogausstellung
Japanisch-Deutsches Zentrum Berlin, Saargemünder Straße 2, 14195 Berlin, Dahlem
About
“Perspektiven in Resonanz – Japanisch-Deutsche Dialogausstellung” is an exhibition at the Japanisch-Deutsches Zentrum Berlin showing painting, photography, film, textile art and installation. It brings together six artists: former grantees of the Goethe-Institut's Villa Kamogawa in Kyoto and artists who worked in Germany with support from Japan's Agency for Cultural Affairs and private Japanese foundations such as the Pola Art Foundation. The exhibition explores how a different environment shapes artists' view of the world, bringing perspectives grown through encounters with other cultures together in a shared space and creating a new dialogue. The artists will be present at the opening.
