About
"Recuperar la oscuridad para recuperarlo todo" is a joint exhibition with works on body, memory and resistance. Behind it are the visual artist Laura Campaz and Julieth Morales, an indigenous artist from the Misak community. Campaz presents textile prints and paintings on fabric under the title "En la oscuridad, el negro se hace poder", exploring darkness from an Afro-Colombian perspective as a space of refuge and resistance. Morales shows the four-channel video work "Resistencia II" and the weaving "Zona Campana", in which she renegotiates her connection to territory, tradition and the women of her family as an indigenous woman.
