About
A concert in the Orania.Acoustic series where contemporary jazz meets Middle East music. The duo of Rolf Zielke (piano) and Hogir Göregen (percussion) unfolds a vivid musical dialogue in which contemporary jazz and Middle Eastern music merge effortlessly. Zielke's multi-layered, rhythm-driven approach encounters Göregen's percussion art rooted in the traditions of Mesopotamia and Anatolia. Virtuosity, groove and a deep sense of mutual listening come together in a sound full of drive, depth and spontaneous energy.
