A book presentation with livestream at the Topographie des Terrors about the Sachsenhausen concentration camp, built by prisoners in 1936, which held a special position as the SS's central model and training camp and the administrative centre of concentration camp terror. The event is hosted by the Stiftung Brandenburgische Gedenkstätten together with the BeBra Verlag. Günter Morsch, head of the Sachsenhausen memorial from 1993 to 2018, presents his new book, a comprehensive account of the camp from its beginnings to the liberation in 1945. The event is moderated by Axel Drecoll, director of the Stiftung Brandenburgische Gedenkstätten.
