About
Soumsoum, la nuit des astres is a drama set in the Ennedi desert in Chad, where millennia-old mountains preserve the memory of a forgotten past. The young Kellou is haunted by mysterious visions that she herself does not understand. When she meets Aya, an outcast in her forties who was present as a midwife at Kellou's birth, a special bond grows between the two women. As the village community turns against them, Kellou must fulfil a last mission for Aya and preserve their shared mystical world, whose disappearance Aya fears.
