About
"Soundtrack to Sunset, Landmusik" is a concert evening of original music oscillating between country and German songs about rural life. Behind it is the group Landmusik, who come partly from the outback of rural Brandenburg. With banjo, violin, a piano that often sounds like a saloon, double bass, guitars and drums, they sing of foggy mornings over the fields, of snuggling after the tavern and of horses and dripping rain in the forest. Their music is also about their relationship to this land: a political engagement with their lived reality in this DeutschLAND.
