A literary and musical evening at the Berlin State Library marking the Rilke anniversary year. Rüdiger Schaper, an author at the Tagesspiegel who has written a biography of Rilke, speaks about the poet's encounter with the piano virtuoso Ferruccio Busoni, whom he met shortly before the First World War through Magda von Hattingberg. The multi-award-winning pianist Holger Groschopp, a specialist in Busoni's music, performs Busoni's piano works. The library also shows documents from the Busoni estate.
